Certification & Documentation

Conventional opinion regarding damage to roofs subjected to strong winds is minimized by leaving the roof vents uncovered in order to equalize inside and outside air pressure have been proven wrong by the testing laboratories. These findings have been certified.

Soffit and Gable Vent Covers eliminate wind and over 97% water intrusion into attic space of homes and buildings.

The covers reduce the roof uplift pressures by more than 26% thereby reducing the risk of severe roof damage.

Vent Cover product research and testing was performed with 167 mph winds and 30 inches of simulated rainfall per hour: Design pressure of 70lbs per sq foot and withstood pressure of 105 lbs per square foot.

All products have been thoroughly tested for the dynamics of positive pressure, negative pressure and / or impact resistance in accordance with (FLORIDA BUILDING CODE) FBC- TAS 201, TAS 202, TAS 203.
